comprehensive. Detailed below are the most commonly requested, however, if
you have a particular requirement that we have not mentioned, please call
us, and we will be happy to source it for you.
Invitations and Calligraphy – whether it’s a formal gilt-edged
invitation, a hand written note in beautiful calligraphy, or a die cut
heart, the invitation you send will be the first impression your guests
have of your event. Party-Point can supply anything from the traditionally
classic, to outrageously wild, depending on your style and theme. Why not
call us with your ideas and see how we can turn them into reality. The
style of your invitation can be followed through the event and appear on
menu and place cards, thank you notes, and even headed paper.
RSVP, Guest List, Table Plans – when you have a busy schedule, it
can be difficult to keep track of those replies, and people can be slow to
respond, even when you set them deadlines. At Party-Point we offer a full
RSVP service, which at a glance, will give you an up-to-date list of those
who have responded and those that need chasing. We can also keep track of
your guests’ special requirements and hotel bookings. If all you require
is a final guest list and table plan then Party-Point are happy to provide
just that.
Photography & Video - you only get one chance for that perfect
picture and video so choosing the right people is paramount. Before making
that decision, you need to have an idea of the style you want captured. Do
you want traditional shots, or would you prefer the more informal natural
shots reminiscent of news coverage? Do you want to include black and white
as well as colour? Is there a special piece of background music you want
played? At Party-Point we will discuss your requirements with you and then
select suitable suppliers, showing you a portfolio of their work, and
arranging for both of you to meet, (if required), before making a final
choice.
Toastmaster – the modern toastmaster is an expert in protocol,
etiquette and correct procedures, and his presence at any function ensures
the event runs smoothly and on time. At Party-Point we work with several
excellent Toastmasters who will add colour, splendour and dignity to any
occasion.
Transport – classic car, luxury limo, sports car, horse and
carriage, double-decker bus, motorcycle and side car, or even by camel -
however you want to arrive, Party-Point can get you there.
Insurance – while everyone hopes for a perfect day, problems can
occur. Although Wedding and Event insurance will not take away the
disappointment, it can help ease the financial burden when the unthinkable
happens. Party-Point has suppliers who specialise in these areas and we
are happy to arrange a quotation for you.
Heating & Air Conditioning – rain, wind, or heat wave,
whatever the weather, heating and air conditioning should be considered
for all marquee events, and even for some ‘older’ venues. Party-Point
works with specialists in this field who can advise on how to keep your
guests happy and comfortable in any location.
Port-a-loos - For outside functions your guests expect and deserve
high quality amenities. Long queues for poorly serviced toilets can spoil
an otherwise perfect event. While trailer facilities can now be as
luxurious as any indoor loo, smaller individual units are more
economically priced and can be used where access is more difficult.
